Shipping Supervisor

We are seeking a Shipping Supervisor for 2nd or 3rd Shift for our North Baltimore, Ohio Plant.

Position Summary:
The Shipping Supervisor confirms and records the receipt of shipments and prepares items for shipping and receiving. In addition, they are responsible for managing the inter-departmental transport of materials

Essential Job Functions:

  • Understands performance analysis and operational impacts.

  • Communicates and creates training, gathers feedback and recommends operational adjustments.

  • Works across functional lines to research and understand operational impacts and solutions that benefit the company.

  • Builds strong business partnerships and collaborates with customers, peers and management.

  • Demonstrates logical and systematic thinking skills.

  • Utilizes creative methods to generate results and foster teamwork.

  • Strong commitment to ongoing personal development.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

  • Ability to be able to work overtime as necessary.


  • Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.

  • Must have automotive manufacturing shipping and logistics experience.

  • Be open and flexible for off shifts including 2nd and 3rd.

  • At least two years of supervisory experience.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.

  • Possess the energy and drive to meet deadlines, accomplish goals and find solutions.

  • Excellent analytical skills where output data is actionable and accurate.

  • Excellent problem solving and follow up skills.

  • Strict attention to detail.


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
